Our fundraiser on January 20, 2007 was an overwhelming success. We had over 96 people who gathered to find out about One! and/or the new information from India, see the videos, watch traditiaonal dancing, shop at the silent auction, and socialize. Over $3000 was raised for continuing efforts in Mumbai.

On January 26, 2007, A good friend of One!, Helen, held a luncheon in St.Albert. 16 people enjoyed wonderful food, information about One! and India, and raised over $600 in a silent auction.

Also, on January 26, 2007, Yoga for Today in Sherwood Park held their annual fundraiser for our benefit. The evening consisted of a presentation by the founder which included videos of the children, dancing by Dance Expression, Indian food, silent auction. Tickets and sales exceeded $1700.

In September of 2006, the first meeting of the Fundraising/marketting committee was held. Members are: Patrick, Erica, Helen, Sherilyn, Julie, and Marilyn. Accomplishments to date are our new brochure, revised documents, arrangements for presentation by founder at AIESEC National Conference, local newspaper articles, and potential University of Alberta Magazine article. Look for more exciting things to come!
